Terms and Conditions of the Competition

The Art of Pensions competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over only. Pendragon employees and those engaged with the conduct of, and the publicity surrounding, a competition may enter the competition but will not be eligible for entry into categories where the winner is selected by Pendragon or by a panel of one or more judges selected for Pendragon.

In the case of categories where the winners are chosen by attendees at a specific event or by a panel of one or more judges selected by Pendragon, Pendragon reserves the right not to enter (that is, to put forward to the attendees or the judges) any entry received by it on any ground.

Pendragon reserves the right not to accept, enter or select for publication an entry on any ground. For example (and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) if in the view of Pendragon the entry is illegible, is offensive, defamatory, illegal or similar, will not reproduce well, is not up to the requisite standard, or there is not adequate space or resources for publication etc. it may not accept, enter or publish the entry.

In the case of any disputes regarding a competition or these rules, or the rules of a specific competition, the decision of Pendragon and or a judge or judges will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Pendragon will publish all or a selection of the entries received in any competition in such form, and whether in hard copy or electronic copy, as it may choose. Publication may include catalogues, internet sites, books, press releases, mailings, newsletters etc and Pendragon may permit the publication of entries in magazines, journals, newspapers, internet sites, books, etc.

The closing date for each competition will be notified with entry packs and will be available from the email address above. Pendragon reserves the right, but has no obligation, to accept individual entries after the closing date. Proof of posting of an entry is not proof of receipt by Pendragon.

In consideration of Pendragon agreeing to consider entries to the Competition, each entrant hereby assigns to Pendragon the complete copyright, which shall be for the full period of copyright, and all other rights in his or her entry. Pendragon shall be free to assign such rights to third parties and the entrant shall take all steps reasonably requested by Pendragon to vest the copyright in Pendragon.

By entering the competition, you warrant that the entry is entirely your own work or that all the authors of the work agree to your entering the competition with the entry on the terms of the competition.

Winners may be obliged to take part in publicity associated with winning the competition and the presentation of any prize.

By entering this competition you agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. The competitions and these rules are governed by English Law.
